Our commitment
NS Maritime works in the waters off Port Dickson every day. We want to keep them clean and safe for the people who live, fish and spend their holidays along this coast, so our corporate social responsibility starts with the sea and the shore.
What we will do
- Join local groups in clean ups of the shore and the water around Port Dickson.
- Report oil, rubbish or other pollution that our crews see at sea to the authorities.
- Keep oil, waste and rubbish from our own work out of the sea, at the anchorages and at the NSC jetty.
- Share what we know about the sea off Port Dickson with schools and community groups who ask.
Ready for oil spills
Oil spill response, marine fire fighting and rescue are on standby for the terminals, anchorages and jetties of Port Dickson, with boats and crews of NS Maritime's partners. For every vessel in lay up, the cover is planned in an emergency response plan and runs until she leaves. See OSR, fire fighting and rescue.
If you see oil in the water, report it to the Department of Environment hotline, 1-800-88-2727.
